Maryam Gholizadeh has actively pursued professional development throughout her career by attending specialized workshops and conferences. She has gained skills in areas like PCR principles, primer design, proteomics, statistical software applications, and UV-visible spectroscopy. Additionally, she has enhanced her knowledge through hands-on training in biological solution preparation and parasitology of prey birds. Research Focus 
Maryam Gholizadeh’s research focuses primarily on veterinary parasitology, zoonotic diseases, and the molecular diagnosis of parasites in livestock. Her Master’s and Ph.D. research projects explored parasitic infections like hypoderma in cattle and goats across different climatic regions of Iran, providing insights into disease control in livestock farming. Maryam has also contributed to studies on hepatitis C, investigating factors associated with cirrhosis, viral load, and fatty liver. Her involvement in both clinical research and parasitology makes her work integral to improving animal and public health in Iran.
