🔬 Dr. Sony Kumari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Biology at the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya. She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Gauhati University, Assam, India, completed in 2017, and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the same university in 2008. Her academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Zoology from Cotton College, Assam, India, in 2006. Dr. Kumari’s professional career spans from Assistant Professor at Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Meghalaya, from 2009 to 2012, to her current role as Associate Professor. She has garnered several accolades, including the Best HoD of the Year 2021 by InSc scholars, and has received the Best Researcher Award multiple times for her contributions to MDPI and Springer publications.
