Dr. Panda earned his Ph.D. from the School of Economics at the University of Hyderabad (Central University), focusing on “International Stock Market Integration: A Time Series Analysis.” He holds an M.Phil from the same institution, where his thesis was on “Exchange Rate Forecasting for India.” Additionally, he completed his M.A. in Economics from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad.

Dr. Panda currently serves as an Associate Professor (Finance) at IIM Mumbai, a position he has held since March 21, 2022. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor (Finance) at NITIE Mumbai from July 8, 2015, to March 21, 2022. He also worked as an Assistant Professor (Economics) at NIT Goa from July 26, 2012, to July 7, 2015, and as an Assistant Professor (Finance) at IBS-Hyderabad, IFHE from October 22, 2009, to July 24, 2012.
