Safia Gaber Abdullah is a distinguished geologist and educator, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological and Geological Sciences at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Born on November 2, 1983, in Cairo, Safia has built an illustrious career rooted in her deep expertise in geological sciences.

Safia holds a B.Sc. degree in Geology, graduating with honors from Ain Shams University in June 2004. She further pursued her academic journey, obtaining her M.Sc. with specialized courses in Field Geology, Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Igneous and Metamorphic Rocks, Sedimentary Rocks, and Advanced Crystallography. Safia earned her Ph.D. in Geology from Ain Shams University, focusing her research on the systematics and paleoenvironmental implications of Eocene Foraminifera in Wadi Hitan, Fayum Province, and the studies on Nummulites from Egypt, covering biometry, systematic paleontology, and evolution.
