Dr. Naglaa Saad Eldin Mostafa Ashmawy is a distinguished Assistant Professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. With a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt (2019), her research focuses on the phytochemical and biological studies of plants in the Araliaceae family. She earned her M.Sc. in Natural Products Chemistry from the same institution in 2013, with research on the genus Erythrina of the Leguminosae family.Dr. Ashmawy’s career spans both academia and industry. She currently coordinates the International Foundation Programs at Gulf Medical University and has held roles as a visiting assistant professor at Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai, and City University College of Ajman. Her previous experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Sharjah Institute for Medical Research, and she served as an Assistant Professor at Ain Shams University, where she was also involved in accreditation committees.
