Prof. Sandra Bischof, Ph.D., is a Croatian textile scientist and Head of the Textile Science Research Centre (TSRC) at the University of Zagreb. She specializes in functionalization and characterization of textile materials, antimicrobial and flame retardant finishing, nanomaterials, and renewable energy from lignocellulosic biomass. Sandra has had research secondments in Austria and the USA and is actively involved in EU projects. She received the Annual State Award for Scientific Achievements in 2019 from the Croatian Parliament.
