Mohamed Tahiri 🌍, born on May 20th, 1961, in Morocco, is a distinguished Professor and Researcher at Hassan II University of Casablanca with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Water, and Environment Engineering from the same institution and a Ph.D. in Bioinorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry from Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg. Currently a Project Manager at the International Academy of Scientific Francophonie, Tahiri has 34 years of expertise in bioenergy, climate change, environmental management, and sustainable entrepreneurship. He is an expert with UNIDO and GIZ, and President of the Moroccan Association of Environmental Economics. His work spans multiple continents, with significant contributions to waste management, water treatment, and environmental education, earning him numerous accolades, including the Hassan II Prize for Eco-Citizen Initiatives and the INNOVTEX Prize.
